The component
Strength where hands live.
Pocket lining is the most used and least seen fabric in a garment. Hands enter it dozens of
times a day, carrying keys, phones, coins — and a pocket that bags, frays or tears is one of the first things
that makes a fine garment feel old. The pocketing fabric decides how long that day is postponed.
In-Tailoring pocket linings are woven tight and finished smooth, to the durability standards
Cobas developed for garments that are worn hard and kept long. They cut cleanly, sew without slippage,
and stay flat inside the garment — invisible, exactly as they should be.
Function
The most used fabric no one sees. .
Pocket lining forms the bags of every pocket in the garment. It must be smooth enough for the hand, strong enough for daily load, and thin enough to disappear against the body of the garment — three demands that pull in different directions, resolved in the weave.

Specifications
The essentials.
Good pocketing is a balance of weave, weight and finish. These are the choices that define it.
A pocket is a promise of daily use: our pocketing is woven so that the bag you sew today still
holds its shape when the garment has earned its patina.
